BEER SWAP 2010 IS ON!
It is almost that time again!
THE BEER SWAP will take place on Sunday, December 19, 2010 @ 1:00 p.m. during the Eagles v. Giants game. Please note that the game is subject to flex scheduling, so the time may change as we get closer.
The theme for this year has been chosen as AMERICAN PALE ALES or just PLAIN PALE ALES. India Pale Ales (IPAs)/Belgian Pale Ales, et al., will not be accepted. They will be consumed (of course), but they will not be eligible for the Lombeerdi Trophy! If you need any guidance, please let me know.
Remember to call or email me the name of your beer to me once it is selected.

RULES AND SCORING
The Golden Rule of the Beer Swap is that EVERYONE MUST BRING (at least) A CASE OF BEER. This year the beer must be from Mexico and/or say Cerveza on it.
SCORING: Each participant will rate every beer (except their own) on the following scales: a scale of 1-10 for taste (with 10 as the best); a scale of 1-5 for name (with 5 as the best); a scale of 1-5 for label (with 5 as the best); and a scale of 1-3 for bottle cap (with 3 as the best). Under this system, the person with the highest score wins. A perfect score would be 23. An awful score would be 4.
As always, the "ultimate loser" will get to choose the theme for the next year and, more importantly, will have to host it.
